By using litacandle.com you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. The service
Lit a Candle is a digital platform that allows you to light a virtual candle and submit a prayer request to a Greek Orthodox monastery on your behalf. We facilitate the connection between you and the monastery; we are not a religious organisation.
2. Payments
All prices are in Euros (€) and include VAT where applicable. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store card details.
3. Refunds
See our Refund Policy. All sales are final for digital products delivered immediately.
4. Prayer requests
Prayer requests are forwarded to the selected monastery as-is. We cannot guarantee specific liturgical outcomes. Monasteries reserve the right to decline requests that violate their own rules.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use this service for names or messages that are offensive, fraudulent, or unlawful. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.
6. Intellectual property
All content on this site (design, text, code) belongs to Lit a Candle / LV8 Agency and may not be reproduced without permission.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lit a Candle is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by Greek law. Disputes are subject to the courts of Athens, Greece.
