Refund Policy
Lit a Candle provides a digital service: a virtual candle and prayer request sent to a Greek Orthodox monastery on your behalf. Because the service is delivered immediately upon payment, the following policy applies.
No refunds
All purchases are final and non-refundable. By completing your payment you acknowledge that:
- The digital candle is activated immediately.
- The prayer request is transmitted to the monastery at the time of purchase.
- The service has been fully rendered upon confirmation.
Exceptions
We will issue a full refund only if:
- A technical error on our part prevented your candle from being activated, and
- You notify us within 48 hours at info@lv8.gr.
EU consumer rights
Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content. However, this right is waived when the consumer explicitly agrees that performance begins immediately upon purchase. By completing checkout you provide this consent.
